| Simple IR Repeater System
This is an easy project that will let you control your stereo equipment
even when it is behind a closed cabinet door.

The IR kit goes on a shelf behind the equipment and the IR Receiver is
placed by the television set. Route the emiters to the front of each
component and attach it over the IR window with its self adhesive backing.
The emitter head is IR passive and will not block the IR window from seeing
commands from your remote when the doors to the cabinet are open. Now when
you aim your remote control at the Receiver, it will pass the commands you
send on to the equipment behind the closed door. This makes for a very neat
installation with a very high WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor). Please make sure
that your equipment will continue to get sufficient ventilation when ever
you decide to install it inside an enclosed cabinet. Audio/Video Surround
Receivers and Amplifiers do generate heat.
